Ponco/ Poncho

Uz je hotove dele, jen jsem nejak nestihala vyfotit. Padlo mi do oka u Radule a nedalo mi spat :-) Parada hotova za par veceru u televize.

Cupcakes

I have been making these for a while for various school fetes and cakes sales. They are simple and always sell fast!

Makes 12:
- preheat oven to 180C/ Gas 4
- 115g softened butter
- 115g caster sugar
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 115g self-raising flour (or 85g self-raising flour and 25g cocoa powder)
- 1 tbsp milk

Beat together flour and butter - gradually add the eggs - add flour - and then the milk. Mix well together and divide into 12 paper cases. Bake for around 15-20 minutes.

The part I like the best is the decorating
- 85g softened butter
- 175g icing sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 2-3 drops of vanilla essence
- various seasonal decorations

Mix well and put into a piping bag and have fun!

Uz nejakou chvili vyrabim tyto dortiky do skoly na ruzne charitativni prodeje nebo na vybirani penez na ruzne skolni akce - nedavno to bylo na venkovni nabytek do 1. tridy. Po zacatecni porazce, jsem se vzmuzila a pustila se do boje s ostatnima maminkama a ted uz se moje dortiky prodavaji jako jedny z prvnich :-D Ja nejsem soutezivy typ, ale tohle me nejak vzalo :-D

Takze, tady je zakladni recept:
- 115g mekkeho masla
- 115g piskoveho cukru
- 2 vajicka
- 115g hladke mouky (nebo 85g mouky a 25g kakaa - pokud chcete tmave)
- 1 prasek do peciva
- 1 lzici mleka

Troubu predem vyhrejeme na 180C/ plyn c. 4

Cukr a maslo utreme a postupne pridame vajicka. Pak mouku, pr do p a mleko. Vse dukladne promichame a rozdelime do 12 papirovych kosicku. Peceme 15-20 minut.

Nechame vychladnout a mezi tim si udelame polevu:
- 85g mekkeho masla
- 175g mouckoveho cukru
- 1 lzici mleka
- 2-3 kapky vanilkove esence
Vse dukladne promichame a prendame do pytliku a zdobime :-)

Eldreflower cordial/ Syrup z kvetu cerneho bezu

What you need:
- 30 large south facing full stems of elderflowers
- 2kg/ 4 lbs sugar
- 75gms/ 3oz citric acid (I found this in the health food shop - but had to ask
- grated rind and flesh of 2 lemons
- 1 litre/ 2 pints of water

1. Bring water to the boil and dissolve sugar
2. Pour over elderflowers and add citric acid, grated grind and flesh of lemons
3. Leave 24 hours
4. Strain through jelly bag into bucket and then bottle. Make sure bottles are clean and have screw tops
As easy as that :-) From my favourite ever recipe book!
Makes about 2 litres and should last until next year



Co je potreba:
- 30 velkych kvetu
- 2kg cukru
- 75g kyseliny citronove
- 2 citrony - nastrouhana kura a duznina
- 1 litr vody

1. Vodu privedeme k varu a rozpustime cukr
2. Kvety prelijeme cukrem s vodou a pidame kyselinu citronovou
3. Nechame ulezet 24 hodin
4. Procedime pres plinu a prelijeme do cistych lahvi se sroubovacim uzaverem

Jednoduche a z me nej knizky s recepty
Ziskame asi 2 litry syrupu, ktery by mel vydrzet do pristiho roku.
