Mrkvova buchta


Co je potreba:
- 230g najemno nastrouhane mrkve
- 170g hnedeho cukru
- 180ml rostlinneho oleje
- 3 vejce
- 150g mouky
- 1 a 1/4 lzicky sody
- 1 a 1/4 lzicky prasku do peciva
- 1 lzicka skorice
- 1/4 lzicky strouhaneho muskatoveho orisku
- 1/4 lziky soli
- 30g vlasskych orehu (nasekame)
- 60g rozinek

Troubu vyhrejeme na 180C a vymazeme si pekac olejem a vysypemem moukou.
Mouku, sodu, pr do p, skorici, muskatovy orisek a sul smichame v mise. V druhe mise smichame olej a cukr a pridame vajicka. Pak vse smichame s moukou a pridame mrkev, orechy a rozinky. Dukladne promichame a peceme asi 50 minut az hodinu.

Uz prestavam psat anglicky, hrozne dlouho to pak trva, nez to sesmolim.... tak snad se rodina nebude zlobit ;-)

Zase ptaci/ More birds




Tentokrat ptacci jedli :-D Ozbobili jsme si s detma a Eliscinou kamaradkou vetve s ptacky z papiru a susenkovymi. Mam ted hodne malo casu a moc uceni. Na tvoreni tedy moc casu nezbyva, ale snazim se, abych aspon udelala neco s detma. Je to ted takove obdobi, takovy prelom, kdy si clovek rika, proc to vubec (to uceni) zacinal. Jsem ted asi v polovine a za 14 dni mne ceka dalsi esej. Tak snad odhodlani vydrzi a v pulce cervna mne ceka zkouska a pak si budu moct uzivat leta. Dalsi modul bude zacinat v rijnu.. a snad to do duchodu dodelam :-DDDD No jo no, kdyz se clovek v mladi flakal :-DDD

Recept na susenky:
- 175g mouky
- 50g mletych mandli
- 150g masla/ margarinu
- 60g cukru
- pul lzicky soli
- 1 lzicku prasku do peciva
- 1 zloutek
Peceme na 175C asi 15 minut. Nezapomenout udelat dirky na provazek pred pecenim!

O vikendu jsme byli na chate a sazeli cesnek a cibuli salotku. Pisu si to radsi sem, protoze bych to jinak zapomnela :-D

This time - edible birds :-D We decorated branches with paper and biscuit birds.
Unfortunately, I'm very busy with my course work and haven't got much time for crafting. But I try to do at least a bit with the children.
It is the time of year when I question the point of studying and why I bother at all. But I'm about half way through this module with 3 more essays and an exam in June. And then I can enjoy the summer :-) Hopefully, I'm going to finish it by the time I retire.... :-DD The price I pay for being lazy when I was young :-DDDD

You will need:
- 175g white flour
- 50g ground almonds
- 150 butter/ margarine
- 60g sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1tsp baking powder
- 1 egg yolk
Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 175C. Don't forget to make little holes for the hanging thread!

We also went to Norfolk at the weekend and planted garlic and shallots (this blog is an excellent diary - this way I will definitely know WHEN they were planted)!!!

Scitani ptactva/ Bird count


V nedeli probihala akce od RSPB - scitani ptactva. Mela se hodinu sledovat zahrada u domu a zapisovat kolik se videlo ptaku. Zahradu tedy bohuzel nemame, ale mame to stesti, ze mame vyhled na skolni lesik. Eliska byla nadsena a opravdu s tatkou pilne hodinu sledovali.

A dneska jsme s Alfiem videli u kostela prvni snezenky!!

On Sunday we took part in the RSPB garden birdwatch. We are lucky to be able to see our school's woodland (as we don't have our own garden) and were able to take part. This is what we saw:
6 magpies
3 woodpigeons
2 great tits
2 crows
1 woodpecker

Not but for inner city London, is it?
